One of my best friends pushes shitfoot. Nobody says shit though cuz he's a super gnarly skater. I'd say just keep doing it. Who cares?

I pushed mongo when I was young before I had ever thought about it. It took a little while to transition but now it would be hard for me to skate mongo.

I am covered in scabs right now, my classmates probably think I'm a tweaker. I forgot how good the skating in CKY2K was. I've been skating 5-7 miles at a time lately, found some good spots the other day.

I pushed mongo about six years ago and made the switch to avoid criticism. It actually helps and only took me about a week.

i pushed mongo for many years and switched because i read everywhere that it looked stupid. making the switch was irritating, but i tell you what learning how to push regular was a lot easier than learning how to skate switch (which i still can't really do)

I don't even know. I started skating on my parents' back porch in a small town in the Florida Panhandle. I didn't even skate with another kid (except for my neighbor who, incidentally, was also mongo) for like the first six months I skated. I only decided to break the habit after gaining the acceptance of some high school kids and realizing they pushed WAY fucking faster than I did.

I had no idea i'd even been doing it till i returned to skating last year. No one ever mentioned it when i was younger. I just realised no-one else really skates like that. Only found out recently Mongo is the name for it. My issue isn't really with the aesthetic, but more that it leaves me so off-balance and susceptible to losing control of the board.

Gonna give it a good crack over the coming weeks. Being in New York makes it a bit difficult because there aren't large areas to practice on smooth ground. Think i'm gonna hit the westside highway on a weekday and see if i can force it out.

post any new tricks you learned recently or first time tries on obstacles.
i tried a fs boardslide on the element rail, slammed my face sideways, goddamn.
on a brighter note, my tricks on stairsets are increasing.

does anyone think or notice that skateboarding is getting bigger, i mean weezy rapping about it, street league, fantasy factory etc..

I don't know, I've just gotten back into it so I'm noticing it more. Feels like it's coming back a bit though yeah. I really wish I had a mini-ramp to skate. I'm going to check out the park here when I get a new deck.
