The old one didn't have thread, I thought I'd keep it that way.

I hope Liverpool can pick up Affelay on the cheap because of this. Someone will.

Affelay's name is being bandied around as a make-weight in the potential deal for Fabregas

Barca's insistence that it's their right to have Fabergas decorating their bench is continually baffling.

Not really when you consider the importance of Barcelona to Catalan identity. Fabregas is one of their own and there's always been the assumption that he'll "come home" at some point.

the football season in most European nations is roughly August/September to the end of May

although international tournaments are often held over the summer, too

First though tonight's Brazil - Netherlands: IT'S PERSONAL grudge match. Looking forward to it, think I'll go watch it in a pub. Had so much fun last year with the world cup, even if it was during a freakin' heatwave.

Should not have included an England win in my weekly accumulator bet. They're all that separates me from £50.

Italy were also a part of it, so thank you Italy for doing your job. England take notice.

There's no way your criteria could be as bad as what Spartacus drew up.

Anyone watching the England game? I can't really be bothered to stream it, I'm fairly sure that I won't be winning this bet. Why is Milner starting?
