hey boarders of michigan,
i'm going to be in town this weekend playing a benefit show for one of my bros who passed away last month. if you guys got nothing to do and want to get drunk and see some fun rock n roll bands and some shitty indie rock (my ancient college band out of retirement one last time), come on down. it'll be a good time for a good cause and one of the best dudes who ever lived.

i'll even buy you a beer or two. our hpn claim to fame was we had a song on one of the first comps that people generally liked, magritte in particular was a fan. that last part probably is not a very good selling point.

Anyone go to the tune yards show tonight? Man that pontiac hipster audience was loud and annoying. It was like being in a black cinema watching a horror movie.

yo Detroiters. in the process of relocating but remaining here in the city. my past few places have either been relayed by friends who were moving out or just luck. and it seems like both of these procedures aren't at my disposal this time.

any recommendations on helpful tools, besides craigslist?

zillow.com has a "for rent" option that allows you to view from a map and is pretty good
it doesn't have the volume that something like craigslist does but basically everything on there will be more legit

where you lookin to end up

we're kind of open to it right now. New Center or West Industrial if there's some amazing options, Indian Village and Corktown/bricktown have been thrown around as well. just as long as we can avoid midtown and woodbridge.... and any buildings owned by LoftPlaces....
