Some kind of horrid drug. All of the stuff coming out now (at least to me) is complete shit and not worth the dollars the boxes/packs command. I mostly buy vintage pre 70's and earlier, save for a few things. My dad is how I got into this hobby when I was really little, and I thought I had quit, but nope, sucked me back in around 2001?
Bold man and I try to go to card shows here and there, but he is at college now. I'm probably going to a show on Sunday....local shows usually suck though.

All the vintage stuff obviously is the way to go but it's tough to get into that when a) you're broke and b) you'll be picking up baseball cards of players you never watched. As someone who collects tons of other things, I know that you should never do a hobby with the idea of making money being on your mind.
