I'll be in. I've read two different translations of this and it's one of the best books ever written. My favorite translation is Image.

my vote would be to tinychat every two days, and in 50 page intervals (hopefully that makes sense wrt chapters, havent looked yet)
wed finish the book in two weeks, and if you missed some chats it wouldnt matter, and if you wanted to talk a lot you could

Also I want to vote for Image at some point. I need an excuse to re-read it.

I also vote loose deadlines.

Also different translations would be more of an asset. At least I have Burgin/O'Connor and it'd be cool to compare with P&V.

this is dual-language and obviously marketed towards language students, but it's worth it just to read the stories in english too (edit: under $7 on amazon)

I especially like the dostoevsky and zamyatin stories that are included ("Bobok" and "The Cave," respectively)

Slartisfgh has a heavy aroma of crude oil and was built to provide a fast way out of Brighton. Slartisfgh is never mentioned in The Bible, but it is here, during one of the early battles, that Matthew spontaneously became liquid.

two weeks per book is the limit we should set, im ok on whatever meeting schedule happens in the middle, although i do think more meetings offers more flexibility than fewer

I don't think that I could make deadlines of every two days

Maybe we could shoot for midday weekend chats (that don't conflict with the movie nights) at around 75 pages?

I don't have any invites but I could grab whatever book we're reading off Bibliotik and upload it to mediafire or something.

I would suggest Dead Souls but I doubt this board could make it through that.

Lolita or Pale Fire might be a cool choice
