At first I didn't think I'd be able to take it but I find myself looking forward to it week after week. It's a good podcast to drift in and out of since it's all fucking over the place, I really like that no matter who the guest is, they are basically forced to get in on bits. The Home Shopping Network bit that Chelsea Peretti did a few weeks ago was fucking hilarious. I also find myself describing things to people by saying "IT'S FUN!" now.

i've been on board since the beginning, shit is great
the rambling, open format can be a tightrope but the todd's tone and general good attitude give the thing such low stakes that it doesn't really matter

for newcomers, go download the eddie pepitone and james adomian episodes

I love how quickly he starts and drops bits. The fact that it's all over the place is probably one of my favorite parts of his podcast

This is coming from a guy who didn't like todd that much at first. The guy really grows on you. It's hard to hate on him

Yeah I love Todd's show, although I did have to stop the Chelsea Peretti one because I didn't find her Home Shopping thing funny at all and her laugh was really shitting me off.

i really enjoy chris hardwick still, would love to see him team up with someone like jimmy pardo, james adomian or rory skovel. it seems like at least one of the three main nerdist guys could get away with not knowing about technology if they are hilarious to compensate.

honestly, i don't hate the both of them together but Matt is REALLY getting on my nerves. Mostly it's his obnoxious, misogynistic bullshit. his rants against stupid maggie gyllenhaal are so awful and unnecessary. here's a fat and (conventionally) ugly guy getting all bent out of shape about a female who doesn't conform to his standards of beauty. ooo! she should be shamed out of hollywood! Khloe Kardashian is weird looking and not skinny and SO TALL! Oooo! Such groundbreaking commentary. I love that in one segment he gets so close to comparing his own high school fat shaming to Khloe's without completely getting there. I really wish he'd cut that shit out because otherwise I love the hostfull episodes.

I have enjoyed the two You Made It Weird episodes I've heard (Maron and Jim Gaffigan) It's WTF lite, and he knows it, but so far I like WTF lite.

awesome.

Just listened to the last two episodes of the Tobolowsky Files (The Rubicon and The Return of Mr. Huge) and loved them. I have to do a decent amount of driving in the next two weeks and I think I'll spend it listening to back episodes of this.

I've said it before but Don Demillo is just the best character.

I listened to the Jimmy Kimmel WTF - not a Kimmel fan and the podcast didn't change my perception of him much but having enjoyed The War for Late Night it was fun hearing him talk about the Leno stuff again. I guess not that many people (unless they read the book) realise how much Leno played him with the idea of jumping over to ABC to give him a new lead-in before the whole 10pm debacle. Anyway, I guess it's worth a listen? Was kind of a dumb move to tease that he holds tons of grudges in Hollywood but then refuse to name any of them.
