He really is the worst character, I'm not sure what the designers were thinking. (We don't have the Prothean, fwiw.)

i really wanted to like this game but i couldnt beat the first boss and got bored grinding at that bridge near the first merchant. i was also using that long trident and i read that its kind of OP so that bummed me out knowing that i had a really good weapon so early on. eh, i should fire it up again and ditch that spear.

the shuttle pilot, however, is. which makes my attempts to comfort him over the death of his husband all the more awkward. in one particular cutscene you can use your paragon powers to give him a manly pat of sympathy

in Mass Effect 3 there are five male-only options (one gay), two female-only options (one gay), and three bisexual options, one of whom is Kaiden, who has seemingly expanded his horizons

Still doesn't top DA2, in which every character was bisexually available. Probably not so much out of open-mindedness as because coding in single-sex options would have taken longer.

Anyway yes the rampant sexualization of the characters ruins many things for me, especially since Bioware seems to have no idea what makes someone actually appealing to a normal human being.

I don't know yet. We're still only in the beginning (just finished the turian moon, which is the first "real mission" after clunky exposition for new people time).

So far it's not very good but there's room for it to get better.

Incredibly there actually does seem to be less of this, although it is still there.

But yeah we're not far enough to know much at this point.
