I listened to this while mowing the lawn the other night and have never felt more masculine while listening to a comedy podcast.

Megan Mullally really irritated me in that podcast. She always brought the subject back around to her while trying to sound bored at the same time and she has that irritating gravel thing to her voice that some girls have these days. It isn't that bad but when it's right in my ear it drives me up the wall

mentioned this in the chicago thread but the theatre offerman talks about a lot- Defiant Theatre- was a theatre i did some work for (including lead vox on a rockabilly cover of "femme fatale" for a score) and had a lot of friends at. he also talked about steppenwolf where i was on staff for a while. on his CBB last fall he told a story about his friend Greg, who now has my old job (which was created for me to keep me around after my internship) at steppenwolf. weird stuff.

So you're saying you were this close to being friends with Nick Offerman.

The skits were great but the podcast-esque convo's will have to be kept to a minimum, just doesn't work visually.

Yeah, I have to say when PFT came out as Andrew Lloyd-Webber I was a bit concerned - it doesn't look like it'll take up too much of the show. For some reason them beaming out at the end of the show cracked me up so much.

Yeah I'd listen to a Jake Johanssen podcast, he has an easy way of speech and kept up with Marc pretty easily on jokes

I'm catching up on Nerdist and just came across the episode where Matt says he bought the perfect meatloaf pan and Jonah asks him "how often do you make meatloaf" and Matt answers "Never." I fucking lost it on the bus.

Like ten great podcasts came out today.

Jason Mantzukas (I know that's way off) should co-host a podcast with Scott Aukerman, they work so well together. Pulling the curtain back on Andy Daly's characters at the end was one of the funniest things they've ever done, up there with dueling Huell Howsers and Ice T calling from the AllState blimp.

The Superego guys are on this week's Thrilling Adventure Hour with Nathan Fillion as well, I expect great things.

Don't know how to feel about Tim and Eric going on the Nerdist at all. I'll probably wait to listen to it until someone here posts about how good/painful it is.

PFT's Weber sounds like a mix of 1 part each of Rik from The Young Ones, Stewie from Family Guy, and Dr. Doofenscmirtz from Phineas and Ferb (anyone?).
