I imagine 49ers fans would be pretty psyched about that

I'd be OK with Smith returning, and I think a lot of the fanbase would be too. There's hope Harbaugh can still get the most out of Smith.

The biggest loser here is Miami. They're out of the Manning race and they'll either end up with Smith or nobody.

Nobody if they're lucky, David Garrard if they aren't.

Are there any Miami fans on the board? How pumped are they for the Garrard era?

am I crazy for not thinking that either Garrard or Smith would be that significant of improvements over Moore, if they were better at all?

moore is the best of those three.
I was wearing a Far Side t-shirt when he came over. "I bet you didn't think I was the sort of person who wore t-shirts," I told him. (Our school had a dress code.) "I have three."

@AdamSchefter: From @mortreport and me: Peyton Manning will become the next quarterback of the Denver Broncos, barring unexpected snag in contract talks.

Denver is fucked if the roboneck doesn't hold up. Has Adam Weber even thrown an NFL pass?

I've forgotten what it's like to watch an offense move the ball before the two-minute warning. This should be an interesting season.

Don't have a team in this fight, but pretty happy with Peyton's choice just because it fucks with Tebow.

I can't wait for all the Manning Mic'd Up segments next year. Luckily the learning curve is pretty low for most of those praise songs.

It's just so darned sad, because for the very first time in his life, it was starting to seem like someone actually believed in Tim Tebow.
