Official 2011-12 NBA LOCKED IN Thread

Jesus christ you have to be kidding me.

the fan base went nuts because he wasn't cohan

and to say it was just a dumb overreaction to the ellis trade is to ignore everything simmons laid out. yeah lacobs only been there a few years but the fans are watching yet another season that had promise go down the drain. I don't hate the trade, and if by some miracle bogut can stay healthy next year I think it's actually lopsided slightly in favor of the warriors... but shit man, it's 2012 right now and being told, yet again, that your team is tanking its season for picks just can't sit right regardless of how it came to be

oh wait actually didn't they end up with richard jefferson for like 3 years?

plus put aside what it means for your team, it's monta ellis a dude you drafted and is a team favorite and you're getting a big lug australian whos always hurt and fucking jefferson.

I gotta say, I'm definitely looking forward to the end of FISHER WATCH 2012! I feel like this happens every year with dudes that get bought out. Remember the race for Troy Murphy?

yeah i don't really want to defend their moves, though i think bogut's health and the possibility of keeping the top 7 pick could make the milwaukee deal alright. my point's more so that it's shitty to act like lacob's at fault for their history. so far they've made serious runs at paul, tyson and were even willing to gamble on a half-season of dwight. they went the other way and decided to tank, and the spurs trade was awful, but if you put lacob's ownership in a vacuum it doesn't get that reaction

love how lin's picked it up in the fourth to make up for melo's lame shots. son can't even make a free throw

stat picked his game up drastically. i don't even know what that's all about

it just sounded like lets go lin or something. it was def ny fans chanting and philly fans booing

pretty wild game despite initially on pace to be a lower scoring game than most high school girls games

sixers are just such a bad matchup against the knicks and their bigs

only hope for a playoff series win is that hawes gets in shape and the offense gels around him
i've been getting really into pestcest too lately. haven't really been able to find much good ant stuff, though. anybody have any links to some good biting vids/pics?

javale mcgee basically just won the game for the nuggets. afflalo misses a tying freethrow with 5 secs left, and mcgee follows it in.
