Havent looked too hard but the only good things I've seen on instant are Buffalo 66, Delicatessen and Twin Peaks.

Barcelona and Minnie and Moskowitz are two of the best films, broadly unavailable on DVD

The Hospital. This is really one of the best screenplays. Goerge C. Scott plays a suicidal doctor. It's a black comedy.

What were you watching it on? I know the ps3 used to have this 1.5 speed playback that did that. My stoner buddies would always watch anime on it, the japanese chipmunks were way too disconcerting to me.

Rewatched "Scott Walker: 30 Century Man". Know it's been up for awhile but it's quality.

Pretty much. I'm constantly finding things I'd love to watch this way and then adding them and thinking " I'll never get around to this but whatever...."

"The End" doc about East End London gangsters is pretty cool, kind of feels like a companion piece to Snatch. Seems like Guy Ritchie liberally borrowed some of his characters for the movie from interviews with these guys, but Snatch somehow preceded it by like 8 years. It's all there, the bare-knuckle boxin, the thick-necks, gold teeth. Now I just have to not start speakin in Cockney for the rest of the day. Subtitles included.

edit: just found out it was directed by one of the super hot twins that played Doug the Head's daughters in Snatch. Apparently they are the real daughters of one of the East End's most notorious gangsters, Les Falco.

Jesus Christ this company is fucking retarded. Their new site design does not allow me to browse DVD's. So, if you just have Instant, you're not even allowed to look at the DVD's. Fucking morons.

All I get is this when I go to DVD's and if I try searching for a movie, I just get results for instant movies with anything close to a similar title.

this came up for me while searching for 'American Movie' (which isn't available on streaming, believe it or not!)

Image

Directors: Master P, D'Juan Baham
Writer: Romeo
Stars: Katt Williams, Master P and Clifton Powell

Lonely and looking for some action, Mikey (Williams) creates an internet dating profile, describing himself as a 7 foot tall Lakers player. The ladies love him online, but they get a rude awakening when a 5 foot tall, broke, burger flipping, bicycle riding Mikey shows up at their front doors. And are the girls anything like they say they are?
All he wanted was to meet the right girl. What he got was an online roller coaster.

Yeah, Netflix search will bring up pretty much any movie that contains the same vowels as the movie you are searching for.

Is there any word things will start picking up? While I have 200 titles in my instant watch queue, I can't help but notice a steep decline in quality or new titles. They're listing things that went up nearly a year ago as "new releases" now.

My guess is no. Unless you're excited to see Act of Valor.

The #1 film "Act of Valor" and the #2 film "Good Deeds" will premiere on Netflix soon, rather than on a traditional Pay TV service.
