I will have a couple pieces in this show in DC at the Flashpoint Gallery
opening is this Friday 3/23 from 6-8pm the gallery is near the 9th & G st exit of the Chinatown Metro basically across from the Library and National Portrait Gallery
I hear rumors of adventure kits, alcohol and grilled cheese sandwiches it should be fun if anybody wants to come

that's real nice, yellow. love the smokey eyes.

i finished my underpainting for the last peice of my thesis show this afternoon. i was expecting to finish the painting this week, but i ended up putting a good 20 hours into just the underpainting. also, no doubt it'll take at least 5 days to dry, so i'm still gonna be frantically painting all the way up until the show. but i'm happy with the first step so far:

So I moved to one of the most expensive cities in the world, somehow got a living studio better than any place I ever lived in el-cheapo Montreal and started painting again for the first time in four years.

My style is still so similar to when I was 12 years old :?

Using oil paint on wood that I find on east London streets.

I'm working on a short film with a friend and there are going to be a couple of stop-motion animation segments. I've read that plasticine is the best for stop-motion, but I guess I was looking to see if anyone could confirm or deny that or maybe make a specific recommendation for what I should buy. I can provide more details if needed.

Essentially all we're really trying to make are the Slurms from Eureeka's Castle. Just really basic little slug-like lumps of clay that wriggle around.

should be fun g&g. there's lots of animation fundamental sites around. you should give a look, it's not as intuitive as you think.

look what just got hung :)
i'll have official photos soon

Oh man. It's like someone took the complete essence of 99% of SCAD film students....and put it into one piece.

Smooth, I'm assuming you know about Wolfgoreshow, right? Yr album art is real similar (and awesome).

I'm assuming you're familiar with Robert Breer's work, cause this is giving off a similar vibe. Looks good.
