Got 3 different receivers sitting in the closet because one of the channels has gone on each.

I've had pretty good luck spraying some contact cleaner I got at radioshack on the connection. I did this once a week or so, and it seemed to make for a better connection and get rid of the distortion. Obviously, this isn't a long-term solution, and it's totally possible I was destroying it in the short-term.
my setup is expedits + home-made speaker stands, denon turntable->adcom amp->kef kube->adcom pre-amp->kef 107s.
i am the absolute worst at cable management, so I'll try and post a picture of my rat's nest to offset those tranquil setups upthread.
