Our dogs were going apeshit of course and wanted at it. It was hurt enough that I was able to touch it, but as soon as we put it in the box to take to the vet, it started kicking like a motherfucker. Anyway, I think they probably just put it to sleep. :(

Yoda is currently 5, but he was about 3 in the photo above.

PS In case you ever get the urge to take Bert to the groomer and have him shaved (instead of the normal terrier cut), I have photos of warning for you.

poor yoda! great name for a cairn by the way

how often do you have him trimmed?

mutism, I don't take him to the groomer as often as I feel I ought; Yoda's the first dog I've had that needs regular grooming (as opposed to just baths & brushing). He should probably go every 3 mos, with maintenance in between at home. How old is your pup?

Turtles are rad. I like the turtles with larger shells, though. I like the spikes that ouachita map turtles have. What kind of turtle do you have?

I can see the Shepherd/Beagle mix. The top pic is interesting - does he get skinnier in the hips like that IRL, or is it just a weird angle?

He does get skinnier in the hip, however it looks exaggerated in that photo. Does that mean something?

Like I said we rescued him and he only weighed 24 lbs, he's up to 33 now and much more energetic.

he's around four months. i'm really not sure when we should get him trimmed for the first time - i guess after his fur regrows after he gets neutered at six months?

Okay well I have to post this.

In the first picture my hamster is sleeping. The last picture is her reaction to Merciel laughing at her.

Hamsters almost always sleep curled up in a ball. My hamster is just a spaz.

Note the pieces of bedding being flung through the air in that last shot.

man I totally missed this post.

I have 3 red ear slider hatchlings, but they reside with my ex and I don't really know if she's keeping them or what's going on there. It's going to be awkward.

I also have a 5 year old mississippi map turtle.

I one day want to have a ridiculous basement paradise for these turtles

really not that hard. map turtles are pretty shy as a rule and need higher water quality than most fresh water turtles and I still find them pretty easy to take care of.

I've had pet turtles since I was 5 though
