totally true.

every bullshit story he offered up one "aw cmon" but then let it go and went along for the ride. really brilliantly walked the line i thought.

When Maron gets to the part about synthesizers! it reaches CYE levels of cringe

Didn't listen to Chelsea (and glad I didn't it looks like)

Mercer wasn't bad. Not the best but no where near the worst guy. I always figured him to be an ass from the stories I've heard about him firing his band but he came off as pretty legit

Submitted a story pitch to RISK! and got a polite "your pitch has been filed and who knows!" response. It was the Michael Miller story, for those of you who recall that from the Unsolved Mysteries thread. I didn't really expect it to get snatched up, but it would be cool to tell that story to a crowd.

this and her general attitude to CBB really makes it baffling that half of America hasn't already proposed to the girl.

I only listen to FitzDog when he's got a guest I'm into, but then they are always pretty good episodes and I think I should listen to it more often but then I don't

fitzsimmons usually does a hilarious job antagonizing maron.
I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur.

I listened to Wayne Coyne yesterday too. I love the guy anyway, but I really enjoyed listening to him. I find his positive outlook and sort of mystical view or music to be really refreshing. Plus I just like his voice.

i like the Lips a lot but wouldnt really call myself a fanboy or anything, though just through circumstances (festivals, opening for other bands etc) i've seen them over the years probably more than any other band (7-8 times i'd guess).

i guess i've never really heard coyne in conversation before and i was surprised how self-aware he is. i kinda pegged him for sort of an artsy flake.

Just got through the ferguson episode. Really good. Some interesting stuff about alcoholism and the guy is just awesome all around. Michael Cain and Sean Connery impressions were funny.

yes

from speaking to "someone i may or may not be related to whom may or may not be in said organization" i always knew they are pretty serious about not revealing other people in the program, but i didnt know the anonymity extended to not speaking the name in a public manner
