i'm guessing it's like how Lukasz is prounced "woo-kash" or something right? i've never heard it spoken and i've never had to say it but the way it is in my head is certainly wrong.

oh and i have zero faith in this french squad. as was mentioned, very attack heavy. who will be in central defense, mexes and rami? that's not really inspiring. i guess if someone gets hurt koscielny slots in? even at 12-1 i would not be putting a tenner on them.

I cant believe Saldado got left out for Torres. Del Bosque is a fucking retard.

I'm actually just pissed because I picked him for my fantasy team and I had to replace him

can someone explain the russian and croatian set up to me?

vital to my fantasy picks

like, i have rakitic right now. is modric really that much better of a choice? i like rakitic for the differential

i know nothing about who the russians will play but nobody has kherzakhov (it's seems most people prefer progrebnyak or pavlyuchenko) and i'd like to take zhirkov but can only have two russians on my team and the other i have shirokov.

are kherz or shirokov likely to feature? am i wasting my time with these clowns? i just think that group is so weak and you need the coverage

Euro 2012: Cesare Prandelli has no problem if Italy withdraw

Coach Cesare Prandelli says he would not have a problem if Italy withdrew from Euro 2012 amid match-fixing allegations in the domestic league.
Police made 19 arrests while Domenico Criscito was dropped after he was questioned at Italy's training camp.
Italian prime minister Mario Monti called for a suspension of football.
"If you told us for the good of football we should not participate, it wouldn't be a problem for me," Prandelli told Italian TV.
"There are things that I believe are more important.
"I dislike crusades. I prefer to face up to things and not take positions without considering the consequences.
"I would rather only talk about football, but events are conspiring against this."

I don't know what the differential is but Luka is crucial to Croatia's offense similar to Spurs. Rakitic will most likely play on the right....I honestly have no clue. We have too many players in midfield who do the same damn thing. I like Ivan but Luka is the way to go.

Gary Cahill possible broken jaw?

Also looks like Van Marwijk has decided RVP and Huntelaar can't play together after all.

Man, England are some fucking shambles. Martin Kelly?!

6 players from the worst Liverpool team in years are in this squad.

Keeping Rio out looks pathetic now. I hope they crash and burn.

Liverpool are the only "top team" that stocked up on English "talent" last summer. That said, Martin Kelly is a good defender, and I'm not one to rate Liverpool players just cause they play for Liverpool. I think he's a better right back than Phil Jones by quite a bit. Not a better footballer, but a better fullback for sure.

Yeah, if Hodgson had the chance to choose both of his old, past it "Golden Generation" center halves I'm sure he would.

Rio didn't rule himself out though, just Roy's bullshit excuse that he's not good enough, which means that he must think Martin Kelly is a better defender than Rio.

Ferdinand has been better than Terry anyway. And Carrick should've been in the starting 11.

I mean Kelly and Henderson aren't going to play, so why not call up Britton and Caulker from Swansea, both of whom have played well this season.

Nevermind though eh

Double fracture for Gary Cahill's jaw, poor bastard :(

It's going to be harder than ever for me to muster up any kind of my usual blinkered xenophobic support for England this year.

That post wasn't meant to come out as some angry England fan. I mean he said that Rio isn't in the squad for purely footballing reasons. Martin Kelly is now in the squad.

Whatever, there are a few players there and obviously better options at home.

He's being politically correct. Clearly Roy has decided, for whatever reason, that he can only choose one between Terry and Ferdinand and he chose Terry. That and it's not like it's crazy for a manager to favor a player he's coached before. Or at least no crazier than English announcers acting like Jermaine Defoe is a goal scoring god.

Hey, If anyone plans coming here to see some games in Warsaw, I can offer you a bed for a night or two.

As for Polish football fans - yeah, they're serious.

Right now Spain can't even beat a Chinese team whose players get injured from running into each other.

I'm just excited about 2 games of football a day for 2 weeks.

I'm even excited about Poland v Greece, which is frankly perverse.
