Thread about interacting with the woods.

Jesus christ you have to be kidding me.

Not only finding pornography but like if you ever you know threw a bunch of your appliances in the woods or you ever like wandered into the woods screaming and crying and begging God to kill you, or you set an entire state on fire and destroyed it, this is the thread for stories about that entire thing.

The woods are where poison ivy lives. How did people in olden times not spend their entire life covered in poison ivy? Is that why they wore clothing that covered all of their skin in the summer? Not because they were prudes, but because they liked having skin that wasn't itchy? For it is in not in the woods where I beg god to kill me, but at night, in my bed with poison ivy itching on every arm and leg unable to sleep, rolling over and begging the itching to go away.

pro tip: do not get poison ivy on your testicles or penis shaft.

Used to play capture the flag in the woods until some kid got lost. Total buzz kill. Built a lot of forts in ravines and demonstrated stinging nettles and different fire building techniques for my campers. Somehow I became nature girl that summer.

Boreal forest is the best forest.

I miss living close to a forest. My mum and I used to go mushroom and berry picking a lot when I was a kid.

I used to steal potatoes from a field that was just behind it.

When I was in the 6th grade, my school choir went to Belleville, Illinois to do a concert with another school. We got paired up to stay at the houses of the kids from the other choir. The kids I stayed with took us out to the woods behind their house where they had built these fairly impressive forts out of logs. Apparently, they would have wars with other kids which involved Chinese stars and lighting each others forts on fire. It was pretty crazy. That night, their dad took us to a closed miniature golf course and broke in so we could play.

now that it's summer we keep finding bear scat all over the place every morning, so it's kinda scary to go into the woods without a gun just in case
