The woods are where poison ivy lives. How did people in olden times not spend their entire life covered in poison ivy? Is that why they wore clothing that covered all of their skin in the summer? When I was in the 6th grade, my school choir went to Belleville, Illinois to do a concert with another school. We got paired up to stay at the houses of the kids from the other choir. The kids I stayed with took us out to the woods behind their house where they had built these fairly impressive forts out of logs. Apparently, they would have wars with other kids which involved Chinese stars and lighting each others forts on fire. It was pretty crazy. That night, their dad took us to a closed miniature golf course and broke in so we could play.
