last movie watched

Jesus christ you have to be kidding me.

Hump Day. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I laughed a lot.

Hoping this comes to LA soon.

Chelsea on the Rocks - Was worried in the first few minutes that it would be a bunch of talking heads telling whacky stories, ended up being a totally compelling look at an era of American art-culture that is all but dead. The reenactments are hilariously awful, but I think in way they really fit with the punk feel of the whole thing.

La danse - The dance is amazing, and the personalities/backstage politics are mostly fascinating - it's fun to watch Wiseman film people who are performers by profession. Is his other ballet thing as good?

Le bete humaine - Probably my least favorite of the 30's Renoir I've seen, but Simone Simon was perfect.

Watched Tarkovsky's Solaris. Really enjoyed it despite its somewhat sluggish pace.

Bad Lieutenant - Exactly the bizarre and entertaining film I expected.

N. Cage was so ridiculous. The initial "bust scene" outside the night-club...unreal!

Yeah see, I kinda hate both those films, I really loved the grandeur of synecdoche... though and of course PSH being incredible as usual.
