In Mr. Culberson’s Houston district, which Mrs. Clinton narrowly carried, the ingredients seem right for an upset.

He has not hired a full-time campaign manager, and some supporters worry he does not fully realize the threat. Asked at a fund-raiser this year if he was besieged with angry calls, Mr. Culberson suggested he was not, a comment that left some attendees flabbergasted, according to a Republican present.

Not too surprised at that, Chuy's been entrenched in the chicago latino community for decades wheras Rosa is still relatively unknown here.

At least four senators are urging Al Franken to reconsider resigning, including two who issued statements calling for the resignation two weeks ago and said they now feel remorse over what they feel was a rush to judgment.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.), who urged Franken not to step down to begin with — at least not before he went through an Ethics Committee investigation — said the Minnesota senator was railroaded by fellow Democrats.

I was interested in the idea of how far a wave can take in you in CA so I made a bunch of charts to compare voter registration to presidential and house Republican performance so here they are in roughly least likely to lose to most

Paul Cook's district is kind of strange. the swing in Rohrabacher's district is really impressive especially given that Republicans have a double digit registration lead there still

they're recounting VA HD-94 today, which goes in as a 10 vote lead for the Republican

they've done 10 of the 24 precincts so far an the democrat has netted 5 votes over election day counts
