I watched Funny Games US but it was very underwhelming even though it's been 10 years since I saw it

Fantastic Planet is really great so far but the real find is this soundtrack!

I shut it off because youtube quality for any Brakhage doesn't work. I have the Invasion of Thunderbolt Pagoda downloaded from forever ago and also own that latest DVD of it and still have never watched it so going into that now.

Since you liked Wake in Fright so much you should watch one of Nicolas Roeg's other all-timers such as Performance, Don't Look Now and The Man Who Fell to Earth. As a matter of fact you should watch all three.

Roeg didn't do Wake in Fright, though, right? I have seen them all and love Roeg!

I'd put Bad Timing in there as well and Petulia since it was shot by him.

I assume that means you've seen Bad Timing as well? That and Walkabout are my favorite Roegs.

Errr, my bad. Wake in Fright was renamed Walkabout for international distribution and Roeg has a film with the same title from the same year
