depending on where it's at he's got two turntables and a microphone

I bought tickets for def leppard and motley crue for a higher price than it would have probably cost me to see them every year since about 2002 combined. 2002 being when I started going to shows
At least we have

went to look for how much I spent to see Beck in 2006 in the front row at a theater in Jersey City, but instead found that I paid $15 each for Silver Jews and then Magnolia Electric Co. two Wednesdays in a row senior year of hs

Now that Beck has a Grammy there's a 75% markup which can be seen by comparing actual value vs perceived value

im not sure the actual tone of the posts in this thread but beck/phoenix in sheds is the exact sort of show you wait until the week of and buy on stubhub for half face value there will also be a number of live nation promotions in the next few months for cheap lawn tickets

I’d gladly pay the $150 or whatever had I known how fixated I am on missing the MM LCW show last month I’ve fucked up a lot in life but not making time for music always hits the hardest

Am I wrong about red rocks being a premium enough venue that you just shut up and give your money?

I think it's partly all the post-pandemic price increases.
My girlfriend bought us tickets to see him there in 2018 and I think she said it was like $65

Yeah it's really only an enjoyable venue to me if my seats are in the first 1/3 of the rows.

I think a big part of it is that streaming has sapped artists' revenue streams.
i think this is a small part, but the bigger part is the monopoly of ticket sales and venue.
I see that Red Rocks isn't part of the monopoly, but I'm not an investavagative jurmalist, what do you want from me?

I saw Beck open for Dave Matthews Band at Foxborough Stadium. I don’t remember how much it cost… but the memories are priceless.
