sunday. i went to bed pretty early and i feel ok i guess. the tyre nichols thing has been bumming me out for days since (in small part) the first poc friends i met were through skateboarding. even if that wasn't the case it's still just fucking horrifying
now tom verlaine dying has added an extra-but-unrelated note to that.
been drinking coffee, reading, and tidying up for the past few hours, gonna go do an easy bike ride, probably nap, then a nice long afternoon walk. grab some frozen dumplings, maybe some soup dumplings. should really make a big batch of baked ziti, got all the stuff in the fridge ready to go.
it took me just about exactly 14 months but i just finished the wheel of time by robert jordan (again) averaging like one book a month aint bad when theyre a billion pages each
