Nic Pizzolatto was just on the Bret Easton Ellis podcast. They discuss the movies of Tom Cruise in depth.
Like all teenage girls she has three things on her mind: boys, fashion, and improvisation all the time.

So am I the only one to suspect that the whole Q-anon enterprise developed from unfulfilled TD S1 plot lines and fan speculation?

S1 was clearly inspired by the Franklin Credit Union scandal and it even gets namedropped in S3.

The symbol on the corpse at the beginning of the show is also pretty similar to supposed symbols pedos use to identify each other.

I would definitely prefer a Nic Pizza-stylized Q phenomenon than whatever the real thing is.

Honestly, I expected S3 to delve much deeper into the dark secrets of Arkansas (including but not limited to the Clintons, the Mena airport, Don Tyson facilitating drug trafficking through Northwest Arkansas, etc.) than it eventually did. It's in there, but not quite as near the surface as S1's influences are. (Michael Judge occasionally brings that stuff up in various Death Is Just Around the Corner episodes.)

I definitely enjoyed parts of it and Ray was quite the protag, but I feel like S2 just completely threw what could have been a really intricate anthology series off balance. Each season should have been focused on the forces hinted at in S1 but from different angles. Like S2 could have delved into that shit from the Hollywood perspective, which was what I was originally hoping for when they revealed it would be set in LA. S3 tried to get back into that groove but I think the show just lost too much attention and momentum.

SAW THE DATE THE TOPIC WAS MADE AND THEN THOUGHT HOW ABSOLUTELY INSANE THAT SEAOSN ONE WAS 8 YEARS AGO.

(I didnt mean to write caps but i wasn't gonna retype this cause i'm lazy.....of course typing this sentence now which is longer means i'd have saved time removing the all caps and rewriting but what can you do....maybe i just don't like doing things over.)

I never thought i would be the kind of person who could say he wasted at the very least ten years of his life. I mean wasted in that there was barely a life experience worth having in those ten years. Obviously i have a different definition than most when it come to "wasting time". This is really off-topic i realize.

How about...If i get a chance, i should really kill myself.
