I absolutely cannot stand the theme song. Plus the last sentence ends with a subject pronoun instead if an object pronoun. I’m sick of bearing that shit.

I realize songs often have incorrect grammar, but this error in particular always pains me to hear on TV or in a movie.

Love watching the show, though.

it kinda doesnt make sense for HBO to hire Arnold and always plan not tell her that JMV would be back to oversee/edit the show. to me it sounds like HBO initially wanted AA (its not like she's never directed TV before) and probably didnt like what she did with it and THEN called JMV. it's still a shitty look tho. i cant remember if she was announced as director before or after AT&T bought HBO but i feel like John Stankey had a say in this esp since i'd argue that Big Little Lies is HBO's second or third biggest property behind GOT and Westworld.

just real bad stuff, everything is running in circles, with renata in particular they are just wholesale repeating scenes and good lord i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt by fleshing out bonnie's character since she got nothing in s1 but it is interminable watching her sit in front of her mother scene after scene and i don't have any deeper sense of her character at all.
