So... Warner Archive had its own streaming service but then it shut down. So they partnered with FilmStruck, then that shut down. Is there a way to watch WAC titles on streaming now?

C'mon, man. This movie was great fun. I thought it was hilarious and had a lot of heart. But I love Randall Park.

I don't know how anyone on earth couldn't love Randall Park. He's so charming in every way.

The songs ruled so much and yeah so did Keanu. My childhood crush was Mother Theresa.

It was perfect for what it was imo.

came in here to post that this movie made me laugh a ton, and keanu was incredible

I turned it off the second they used a jolly pumped up cover of Young Americans to soundtrack a fun montage. people know that’s a depressing song right?

If I turned off every movie or show that features a shitty contemporary cover of a classic song, I would have had to stop watching movies 20+ years ago.

Anyway, Always Be My Maybe was funny and cute.

i will defend the hell out of the keanu scenes, the rest of the movie had some decent laughs, but as a whole it wasn't anything incredible, but for a little relaxing sit down, it was great.

really enjoying Bad Blood season 2 as a nice middle ground between network filler and 'prestige' drama
interesting cast, potboiler story.. gets the balance right to make entertaining tv

Kim Coates has soul

Did Good Omens get discussed in here or in some other Neil Gaiman thread that I can't find?

I thought it was OK

Love Pratchet and Caiman separately, but usually hate them when they do a collabo

my expectations were raised by the thread. it's sort of ok, but I wouldn't recommend it? I didn't really like her special "hard knock wife" much either (I remember liking baby cobra, but I can't remember any of it)

I wouldn't be surprised if she's in something great at some point.. it's just not this for me

Yeah, I was hugely disappointed. A lot of the humor didn't translate well off the page. By about the halfway mark it just became a chore, I thought.

i kinda love that they have most of the characters openly annoyed with her. i'm glad i looked up and saw that it is an all queer writing room (kinda shocked there's not a whole lot of press) - really helped my viewing experience.
