yeah this season especially was very sherman-palladino-esque. how michael rapaport fits into that i don't know but i guess he's not terrible at pretending he's not an insufferable loudmouth

The King on netflix is entertaining and big budget enough to be a fun watch

It's so corny and dumb, and the battle scene is lifted wholesale from game of thrones, but it's a lot of fun to watch. Budget Seth Rogen was good as Falstaff, and fucking Robert Pattinson and his fucking frainchhh accent and death are fucking perfect. And the Magical French Lady at the end laying down The Truth, the only woman with more than three lines, and only one of three female speaking roles period.Toggle Spoiler Tragic what they do to Sad Timothy's hair though.

Is anyone else watching Living With Yourself? It's about a guy and his clone, it's surprisingly good. I'm on episode 3. They don't try to push the comedy side of it too hard. And theyre not on screen together enough for it the premise to get too sweaty.

I watched all of Living With Yourself recently. Definitely enjoyed it, I thought they were going to take it one way but didn't end up going there which I was happy about.

midnight diner is so good. it's the best thing to watch when you come home after being out at a bar and want to wind down. season 2 is as good as season 1!

That seems to be the word. That's too bad, maybe rent Chutney Popcorn as a palette cleanser.

watched some dollface, aside from the litany character clichés, i was puzzled by the concept of naming the show after the unwanted nickname her ex gave her?

There’s something oddly emotional about the wall breaking closing scenes too. I won’t see these characters again and it’s like they’re waving from the afterlife or something.

He's a fantastic storyteller and writer, but generally his stuff is more quirky/clever to me than genuinely funny. That's not even really an issue, but I don't think I'd ever turn to him for that purpose.

Midnight Diner is so good. If you like it you will likely also enjoy Samurai Gourmet. A retiree goes to a different restaurant every episode. The food typically triggers reveries of his youth and a life well-lived, or sometimes he just daydreams his way out of mildly awkward social situations. That’s it. It’s amazing.
