Rewatched season 1 in anticipation of season 2, finished up just in time for season 2 to begin. So far only watched the first 2 episodes. I love it so far, really like where/how it picked up.
Also loving Elizabeth's transformation into post-apocalyptic warlordToggle Spoiler
I’m finding myself recommending this to so many people, people who otherwise are aware of good recent shows. I feel like Netflix really didn’t even try to market this to American audiences, which is a shame because it should be as big as LOST. I just want these writers to be lauded for such tight, imaginative storytelling.
I had a thought during episode 4 that like...if this show was LOST, we would spend an entire season with Jonas in 2020, 1921 etc...with filler period piece subplots to pad it out. This show cycles through those arcs in a matter of 1-2 episodes, and it doesn’t feel rushed at all. Just feels like all killer no filler and its some of those most engrossing, captivating tv i’ve ever seen
Just finished the second season. Loved every bit of it. I will need to watch again, but everything seemed like it was good and important to the story. Lots of stuff to process re Elizabeth, Noah, etc as well as Ulrich's predicament. Knowing it was a trilogy I knew it was going to end on a bit of a cliffhanger, and now I'm really excited about this multiple worlds concept.Toggle Spoiler
Amazing - just trying to process everything tonight and dream about s3.
As much as I loved the first season I still can’t believe they pulled off a follow up, let alone this well. Think a rewatch will come sooner than later.
My initial thoughts are the season 2 was better than 1. Part of me was worried it may have been disappointing, season 1 was just so good. But this took it up a whole level.
i'm like 6 episodes into season 2 and it's losing me a bit. i fully expect them to reveal that jonas is actually jonas dad. or that martha is the mother to charlotte and jonas and noah fight for her love. the reveal of adam had me sighing a bit. i don't know, i still enjoy it but it's a bit much this season.

I liked the Adam reveal. It was a twist that made the season so much more interesting. The ONLY thing that I was able to kinda see coming so far was (ep6 spoiler) Jonas causing his dad’s suicide (didn’t see him causing his own hookup with Martha tho lol)Toggle Spoiler and I still didn’t care because it was executed so well.
I still have two more episodes of season 2 to go, but i’m really enjoying the fact that I still have no idea where season 3 will go. And the only difference is that I have complete confidence now that they’ll answer everything and stick the landing, because it’s so obvious they took the time to meticulously plot every single thing out, whereas with something like LOST you increasingly get the feeling the show doesn’t really respect you and is making shit up as it goes and that it won’t actually resolve all of its mysteries in a satisfying way.
just finished season two.i think my first post was a bit harsh but the show is wild, i practically gave up on trying to guess what really happened in what order. like in the beginning i kept thinking about how they will eventually explain the order of things but that's impossible now and you just have to accept that. i joked about jonas being jonas dad but then elizabeth is her mother's mother and daughter. it's unapologetically crazy, in a good way. and well done. someone complained about the summer feel but i liked that, them biking to the lake, it had a nice vibeToggle Spoiler
