I want someone to make this for 80's small town Canada.

But seriously i absolutely love the idea of having at least somewhat sandbox game in which i can just live and chill in a small town environment. There was some of that in Bully and i loved it. But bully of course also had violence and stuff. Still root for Bully 2 happening if nobody else is gonna do something a bit like this.

Like ive never been a child in 70's japan and somehow i got a big nostalgic feel from this video. I guess that's because childhood is a relatable experience anywhere. I imagine the designer or writer behind this game had been a child in 70's japan.

I would kill to have these fan translated, but if you have a 3DS there is already Attack of the Friday Monsters which is made by the same people that made this and is pretty similar

There's also a good video game magazine called Scroll (created by Ray Barnholdt from Retronauts) that has a great issue about this: http://scroll2.squarespace.com/issues/10

else heart.break() is cool for this topic because there are so many different ways to explore the city as you learn the game

The problem with these threads is I have to constantly remind myself that I should get excited about these details instead of compulsively buying any game mentioned

yeah wondering this myself lol

i now own copies of heavy rain + beyond two souls and think i have people to watch me play with them that would appreciate david cage ridiculousness so i think it's about time to delve deeper into his work. i've only played a few hours of omikron, first hr of heavy rain and the demo of beyond two souls before before it was certainly a time. earnestly think playing the beyond two souls demo with someone else that appreciated david cage's ridiculous goofiness was one of the best gaming experience i coulda imagined.
There is a popular narrative form that could fit desistance or detransition, namely demonic possession + successful exorcism. That needs a more complicated story, however, because there also exist real trans who would be happier with reassignment.

Dragons remember when you got killed because you took too long taking a picture of your character telling you about his favorite nietzsche book?

No but seriously what is that game?

I've been working through my ps4 backlog for the past couple of months, and I'm finally revisiting mirror's edge

it's too bad that the franchise is probably dead, because the blinding sterility of these games scratches a really particular itch for me

Deus Ex Mankind Divided is only £5 on PSN so I bought it because of this thread. I haven't played a Deus Ex game since Invisible War which I actually did love.

Yeah but the thing is, I don't want the monsters there! I don't want conflict! I just want a peaceful zenzone.
