the ape escape run is always a good time. reminded me i need to throw the soundtracks on at work. i woke up to the legend of zelda randomizer and i think that's been my favorite run i've seen of this gdq so far. literally every run happening tonight is something i'm looking forward to a truly stacked lineup

looking forward to RE2 remake. I was watching runs of it pretty regularly when it released (to help me when I was doing S+ hardcore runs and then just doing runs for fun). I haven't watched any in a couple months so I'm wondering if its evolved much, if it all, since it seemed to be pretty well optimized only a few weeks after it came out.

shooting the ground thing to manipulate mr. x and library zombies was def something new to me for this run since I last watched
god I might have to fire this up and do some runs again this weekend. still probably my favorite game this year.

it's not super long/structured similarly to the OG which was designed to run real fast.... but its still pretty crazy that it was pretty well figured out in within a month or so of its release.
this isnt even using the out of bounds skip that was discovered like a fucking week or 2 after it released

yeah survival horror speedruns are my favorites b/c theyre already pretty short and designed to be played in all consuming bursts. the first time i beat the original re2 as a kid i played through the second half in like a single all consuming sitting and that experience still sticks with me.

Mort the Chicken w/ cutscenes is real good.
Ditortion2 is excellent at Souls games but this run has been pretty sub-optimal so far. Frame rate keeps crashing too for some reason

Also it's hard to believe the Laffy Taffy game was made by humans. Pepsiman is funny and weird but that thing is the opposite of entertainment.
