People who wear Patriots clothing. I live in New England and liking this team is like, an identity for some people.

People who raise their voice in an attempt to make their point more valid. Really anyone who yells or is quick to anger.

I have no idea why the people most obsessed with food in relation to fitness frequently have the dumbest ideas about nutrition. They're the same people who will tut at you for eating lots of fruit because of 'the sugar'.

yeah i just did this

these days? walking on two legs, breathing...

Qualify

that indefinable quality that tells you someone grew up with a family that loved and supported them

I don't know if it shows but i definitely grew up in a family that loved and supported me. I guess it didn't make much a difference in the end which i feel a lot of shame about.

goatee

ok well.... its just from being too lazy to shave and facial hair only grows on my chin and upper lip. It's not a fashion choice. I shave once maybe every two weeks and in in the meantime i start getting a goatee. I dont actually think it looks any good, just don't care.

bad tippers

I almost always tip minimum but NEVER less. If i tip more than minimum it's because i'm embarrassed to ask for change back. I try to avoid any situations in which i have to tip. Like iv'e never ordered takeout, i just pick it up.

At this point, existing in my vision or memory

I probably exist in petty's memory

peacoats*

I have two nice ones, found in the street some years ago. I kinda stopped wearing them cause i got a bit too fat though.

limp handshake

i dont know for sure but i would imagine my handshake is limp

eats on the bus/train

Not frequently but ive done this and will again. Snacks though, not meals.

spits on the ground

Well sidewalks and stuff, not anywhere INSIDE. Not frequently but i do.

doesn't pet dogs at any given opportunity

As mentioned i got bit once trying to pet a dog i didn't know and ever since i'll only pet the dogs of people i know. I DO love dogs i just don't take the risk.

post on hipinion

check

'Cyclists are just as bad as drivers!'

I wouldn't voice it this way, but as a pedestrian i've had a lot more issues with cyclists than drivers... I think it's obviously dumb to paint all cyclists (or drivers, or pedestrians) with the same brush. It's only a minority that are bad. But those that are seem to have this real entitlement about being cyclists, like that puts them above any wrongdoing or something. I've seen that attitude many times. They're seemingly NEVER in the wrong.

I see where you're coming from. I think my problem with it has more to do with the increased matter a person is leaving behind for another person to clean up. There are no garbage receptacles on the trains where I live so people leave wrappers and containers behind when they dont feel like packing it out. But then again we are all constantly shedding hair and dander everywhere so I guess somebody is going to have to pick up at the end of the night.

I experienced a real life nightmare recently where someone was eating chicken wings on the train and every time we'd arrive at a stop they would throw a handful of bones out onto the platform.

this is an entirely different thing. I have NEVER EVER disposed of my wrappers or containers by throwing them on the ground anywhere in my entire life and i have to say it's not really something people do around here on transit. I always put them in my bag and throw them away later. You SHOULD get offended by people who do this. There's no garbage receptacle on the subway here but they have plenty of garbage bins at every stations and people use them. I don't remember the last time i saw trash on the metro or in a station actually.

isn't this like talking about something funny you saw on tv at this point though? unless you mean talking about memes irl (like "dat boi", which Annie May mentioned in their reply). i definitely prefer hearing about the (potentially) funny internet thing than the almost always unfunny work thing, unless it's someone whose internet habits i know and hate
an otter wrote:"i love animals, but i could never give up cheese"

i don't think i've ever actually said it, if that's what you mean. but both parts are true for me. man, vegans must REALLY hate the rest of us

Along these lines, anyone who goes into great detail to tell you what they are not eating. Some dude I met at a party regaled everyone for a solid 45 minutes about his intermittent fasting and how he was only allowed one piece of grilled chicken at the barbecue.
