we pay like $45 for xfinity without cable

lady wop just has to yell at them once a year

actually we do have a cable box we never setup but either way it’s $45 for like 30mb

I just use the login info from my parents comcast account. They never use any of the online features and it doesn't cost them any extra, then i use the various station apps to chromecast to my tv. Works pretty well and is totally free if you can get the login info from a friend/family member. I really only use it for sports.

i've heard they ship it out pretty quickly, which is good because i'm an impatient person

it was on my doorstep 3 days after signing up, def quicker than I expected. I wish I knew how long this offer would go for cos I'd love to sign up with a different account for another one before it expires.

same, just got mine today.

i'm losing it at the 4K screensavers...so pretty

i've noticed over the years how much better chrome/chromecast is at streaming stuff over wireless, i think google puts in a lot of work at improving the underlying tech between the two

i can watch 720p sports pretty flawlessly from random streams on my wired desktop to my TV when before it would buffer and disconnect all the time
i've been getting really into pestcest too lately. haven't really been able to find much good ant stuff, though. anybody have any links to some good biting vids/pics?

i assume this is because they rolled out the updated interface and DVR to apple TV first and fire users have to wait a couple weeks?

did you have to email them or anything? i'm using my apple TV now but previously I was using my fire TV...I wonder if I should go back to that temporarily for this discount

nope they just emailed me...it sounds like the new update won't work on the old generation fire sticks. i don't even use the fire stick anymore

I like Sling well enough. It has a good assortment of channels and big on demand selection for each. Also the feature to start a live program from the beginning if you tune in late is handy.

I’ve considered changing over to YouTube tv to get more channels but idk if itd be worth the extra ten bucks over what I pay for Sling

directv now works really good on the apple tv 4k, i'm probably going to roll with it this year, although it does not have the big 10 network, so i was considering switching to hulu live (youtube tv isn't available in my area)

first do this, you can get a crazy amount of HD channels over a digital antenna. locals, a bunch of weird movie channels, etc.

re: hbo, showtime, you can get those through streaming. I think Amazon Prime even offers discounted rates.

For sports, that's going to differ greatly by what you watch and where you are. My advice here: find a friend who isn't interested in cord cutting and borrow their cable login to link to your devices. that will get you the mainstream stuff (ESPN, Fox Sports, etc.). If you need something more specialized (special soccer networks, league passes, etc.), there's apps for that.

it also has VH1 which I don't think youtube TV or hulu tv had (for drag race)

directv now had the best overall package of channels at its lowest $35 rate I found, there's not any that I'm missing
