The Y-wing shot was the best part.

Certainly looks the most ambitious in scope. The Palpatine stuff still seems idiotic but whatever, love the look of much of the shots, although the Star Destroyer water scenes looked a little too Marvel for me.

Nice to see the cast together.

What were Rey and Kylo destroying together? Vader's remains?

They certainly seem to show them working together.

The space horses all running on the deck of the Star Destroyer was pretty incredible too.

Whose voice was at the very start? Poe?

some cool images though. at least feels like it COULD be good but i'm just way more skeptical than i was for either of the others. zero hope that i'll actually like it MORE than TFA or TLJ

i mean it's physically impossible to produce something better than TLJ so

*ahem*

This 43 seconds of film is more magical than any moment in TLJ
Combarieu declares that the songs of birds are not "musical" either, because they are "very difficult to take down in notation." See his Music-Its Laws and Evolution, 155. Will some divine power please create a "Musical" bird to sing the Air for G String in exact Equal Temperament for M. Combarieu?

Was the penultimate shot like some kind of biomech Palpatine? That was the only shot that really piqued my interest but just bc it's so lovecraftian for Star Wars. Basically none of it makes any cohesive narrative sense as a trilogy but maybe it could be a fun mess I guess.

It’s p fucking crazy that they just started making movies and gave them to different people without any kind of cohesive narrative or overall plan.

Why would they do that??

the thing i'm most worried about is actually them trying to wrap shit up for like the whole "saga" though. just seems like that would have to be super awkward and strained since there isn't any setup for that shit in the past 2

I still can’t get over how like the first shot of the first trailer was kylo gluing his helmet back together. They should have just said Luke is still alive and it was all a dream.

Oh, I did kinda like Luke saying “the force will be with you” with leia saying “always” cause I’m a big nostalgic dweeb.

It's going to be wild when we realize that they had six shots on the modern era and Phantom Menace wound up being the best one.
