I'm looking for shoes for my wedding next month. I bought a pair of Aldens but ended up returning them because spending $700.00 on shoes is fucking stupid and I'm an idiot. I ordered another pair from 3DM and returned them because they were hella narrow. Does anyone know where I can get a good pair of cap toe oxfords for less than $300.00?

you ever tried walking around pronouncing "cincinnati" like it's an italian word at people and seeing if the sort of outsidery glow it gives you is useful?

i'd predict a dismal resurgence of the square toe but I think reality being the misery overachiever it is the shit we'll be stepping in is more likely to be undertaken in the sort of Permanent Ortho-Skecher that would have me begging for Donald J. Pliner patent leather tissue boxes

I’d be careful with meermin for 2 reasons:

1. They ship from Spain and need to go through customs this could delay them past the wedding

2. They are INCREDIBLY stiff out of the box. I have multiple pairs and they all took FOREVER to break in. Especially because of #1, I’d caution you to not wear these the first time on a day where you’ll be on your feet/dancing for long periods of time.

Other than that they’re beautiful and I love mine. Incredible value.

eBay is constantly trying to offer me deals on Superdry jackets. Does everyone get these regardless of buying history or are they just trolling me?

I bought Kent Wang handgrade shoes for my wedding and made the somewhat risky choice not to wear them at all prior to the big day and they were like butter. He has some cheaper benchgrade for ~the same price as the AEs.

i have a question but i'm not sure who it's for. something tells me that sissy might have a comment or insight, or maybe bruce

what i'm trying to understand is who buys the shoes this company produces, included here:

this shoe, for instance, costs $405

I was gonna say the Bosnians near my house that own cafes that are obvious drug and prostitution fronts wear shit like that.

I like the shape of these but you are paying a premium for the Margaret Howell name below Tricker's on the insole; you can buy derbies straight from Tricker's for like £80-100 less. Not that I begrudge anyone wanting to wear Margaret Howell because she's the fucking best.
