It's been ingrained in me since childhood not to do this. Not helping is the one kid I knew in 4th grade who regularly ate the entire apple packed with his lunch. He already had a rep of being weird, and eating the entire apple didn't help.

No one eats the entire apple. You imagined that child.

im guessing you mean the core, seeds, and steam. No i don't. But I usually also slice my apples and don't just bite straight into one. I have a crown in the front of my mouth that I can't afford to break.

The closest I've come to doing this was the time I split the apple width-wise like in those photos, and even then I did not eat the stem or the seeds.

This kid ate the stem and the seeds every single time.

i avoid the core because it is dangerous (though i think you need to eat like a thousand apple seeds to actually die so)

I got pressured into it. It took two hours, most of which were spent sitting in this old guy's house. Then I shot a gun at a bottle. It was horrible! I got a piece of paper with my name on it.

The NRA's education wing is a masterclass in community-based propaganda/support-building. IIRC, the old guy didn't mention second amendment rights once! A lot of people think the NRA is just old guys teaching you how to clean your rifle or whatever
