All the words for laughing outside of laughing are bad

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your ass in

Look at this:

chuckle
giggle
snicker
snort
whoop
chortle
guffaw
titter

They all sound like some midwestern housewife invented them. Anytime i have to read any of those in a book or article i get mildly angry. This needs to be fixed. New words to describe all kinds of laughter need to be invented in english.

To be fair, laughter is often a very ugly sound. It seems correct to use words like “cackle” to describe it.

This is why the teens love acronyms.

I like the term "laugh riot" because it sounds so pretentious.

I can't be bothered to check but I think it peppers Patrick Bateman's speech, maybe that's why it tickles me

saying "chortle" out loud packs a punch if you want to call someone out for inappropriate laughter

for the record (someone please add this to the board minutes), i was just clowning on milk for making this thread twice and i do not actually believe:

theres a problem where i post things and dont check. But you all need to know my mouse button pretty much double clicks everytime i use it. Or 50% of the time. And no i'm not gonna change my mouse because its a logitech wireless mouse and i'd only replace it with the same and i dont have money for it. so double posts forever it is. Of course most modern forums don't allow double posts....
