instead they’re yelling about how this one should have a whimsical technicolor palette and exaggerated characters and not try to do what jungle book did except they don’t even bring up the jungle book

Isnt it funny how you can make anyone’s arguments seem stupid by saying they’re “yelling”

Also when stating you think that traditional cel animation looks better/is more appealing than what they're doing with this new one, you're somehow being contrarian.

Wreck it ralph 2 was real bad. No joke, the emoji movie did a better job parodying internet culture.

I don’t think parodying the Internet was as important a goal for it

I can’t tell how genuine anybody is being, but what more should be expected from pop that references and reflects other pop?

it was really dull and repetitive, and the only thing that seemed fresh and fun were the disney princess bits, they need to make that into a movie.

The movie made one big choice which is that as Ralph started going viral, he never bought into it or cared. He only did it as a means to an end. That along with the entire internet sphere was just used as a flashy visual environment for its story of personal growth and friendship. It wasn’t parody or satire or a lampoon. It was literally just depiction.

Ralph Breaks the Internet has nothing to say about the culture or the Internet. Which one could argue is irresponsible, annoying, or a welcome relief.

Look, you appear to have actually seen the movie and people here prefer to discuss whatever they got from advertising instead. Just so you know!

If that's true the preview is lying about the contents of the movie entirely

Please don't make me watch it the first one (which DID lampoon computer/internet shit) sucked so bad
