i thought both teams played really good defense. shootouts are nice too but good to have a more defensive game from time to time

i don't understand this argument. it's the same thing as me criticise a shootout because of "all those gorgeous kickoffs"

at least there's only one long stoppage in play when there's a punt. after a touchdown there's the extra point then a stoppage each side of the kickoff

i don't watch much baseball but don't people say that a low scoring game is entertaining?

how is what you're saying different to suggesting people don't watch baseball for strikeouts they watch it for dingers?

like i'm not saying it was a classic or anything but i'd say it was decent enough i've seem much worse SBs. would have been nice if the pats didn't get a FG towards the end so the rams got the ball back with a chance to tie.

tbh i don't think i did enough in that Turnover Tom thread. i should have counted out edelman too he's the one who won it for them. they won in spite of Turnover Tom's performance.

maep is still crunching the numbers but it appears that he might have had more turnovers than he did touchdowns in the game!

i'm fine with low-scoring football games like this one

it was pretty disappointing the Rams were unable to make a meaningful adjustment on offense but the defenses were great.

pitching duels in baseball are incredible and don't compare to a defense-dominated football game

i can't believe what the patriots did to the chargers, the chiefs and the rams, all in a row like that.

like, the three highest scoring offenses all year, just thoroughly stymied and bottled up. can someone smarter than me explain what the patriots defense did to these teams? is it just bill outcoaching them all?

As far as yesterday, this is essentially what they ended up executing: https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/01/29/super ... reddit.com

It also can't be overstated how much less dynamic the rams' offense is without an all pro caliber gurley on field, and how flat out terrible goff's own performance was.
