nice I think we did a crazy for you medley in jazz band

our school had to censor the whole teen pregnancy thing when we did grease. Rizzo broke up with kenickie for 'two timing'

definitely was a cool kid now that I think about it

I was not popular.

I think most people didn't even know who I was until junior/senior year when I got some local news coverage. Then I was just like a freak outlier, which was fine, I wanted no attachments to Alabama or my high school anyway.

I barely spoke to anyone my freshman year, found a group of friends sophomore year, started drinking and going to parties junior year, and was well-liked across a number of different groups by senior year. I think playing sports helped a lot. But I was never one of the popular kids.

Attended classes and nothing else.

I was mostly successful in remaining invisible and anonymous.

I seem to largely be forgotten by that crowd.

Mission Accomplished.

One is playing for the national 7's rugby team

The other seems to be some kind of engineer
don't drink. smoke weed instead
take effexor morning, mirtazapine at night religiously
get enough sleep
wake up, shower, have breakfast, make coffee, pack lunch, go.
use your planner then prep

fix your bike
see therapist
put yourself out there, forge healthy beneficial relationships but chill

I’d feel like a real asshole if they’d all become doctors or something but the fact that they worked their asses off to do the absolute worst shit in the world, gosh I could hardly feel like more of a genius.

one of the cool kids from my high school is now an ER doctor and kept my dad alive two more nights so that I could see him one last time. Okay, that is the saddest post I'll ever make.

oh man. in middle school i would wear the dumbest shit. i remember for an entire month when i dyed my hair neon green i wore yellow painter's coveralls and found a pair of neon green platforms to match. i was picked on mercilessly but that just drove me to dress even stupider and stupider.

fuck this just brought back a real visceral memory of paying like 15 dollars at a hardware store for a long link of big ass chain
which brought back another memory of a few years later when that chain had become giant foam alphabet blocks
this is not fair this early in the morning

The most popular girl at my school when I was in high school continued to hang out after school at our HS during college because she couldn't handle coed school and stayed in town. At the 5 year reunion she had a hard time finding a table of people to sit with so sat with my friends who never really hung out with her because she was 'too cool' for us. I'm not friends with her on FB and as far as I can tell not many of the people in my class are either (I'm fb friends with about 120 of the 183 girls in my class). No idea what she's up to. She wasn't at our 10 year either.

She was actually nice enough just kinda fake.
