Anyway, last year we watched this very enjoyable piece of garbage starring James Spader and Shelly from Twin Peaks.

Love this description.

Ah shit it's Valentine's Day and I forgot to download a steamy 90s thriller. Give me your reccs, the steamier the better.

so i'm pretty sure I've seen everything in this thread except for "Dreamlover" and "Palmetto" - we had HBO AND SHOWTIME in the 90s and my parents would watch anything.

feel like this is more "action" that "thriller" but whatever

my dad took me to see this in the theater (Biograph on Lincoln ave RIP) and we came out both like, well there was a whole lot of swearing in this.

also goddamn all these movies are about people having affairs and also Michael Douglas rode his "Wall Street" typecasting to a ton of work in the 90s huh

I've mentioned them elsewhere but the Suspense is Killing Us podcast is so good for diving into these movies. one amusing facet of their show is that they constantly refer to characters being shot as "getting blown away"

I do not have the strength however to listen to their Dennis Miller episode

Have been on a huge thriller kick. Gimme all the thrillers.

Or is there a better thread to discuss thrillers in general?

Really dug Red Rock West, The Last Seduction, and One False Move recently.
