how many more years of potus trump would legal weed be worth

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around

not that i doubt that it’s ultimately going to happen in any event

like in moral, economic human terms hypothetically speaking would the benefits of legal weed outweigh any further length of time enduring this endlessly depressing frustrating national self flagellation?

just something inane to chew over and distract ourselves on the ol’ indie music message board on this hostile winter night

I think the last thing America needs is another form of self-sedation. But I guess the lack of medicare and Catholic working culture is a form of oppression that necessitates it, too, so I unno.

Is there anywhere in America where you still can't get that "loud"

Weed is five dollars a gram here, it's nuts. Or you go to the store and get the top top.

i believe odilon's question is meant to contend with injustices related to the criminalization (and uneven, to put it mildly, punishment) of marijuana use, possession, cultivation, etc., e.g. https://www.aclu.org/gallery/marijuana-arrests-numbers

the problem with legalized weed so far is that it's still illegal to smoke in public basically. there's no weed bars or coffeeshops

i have a feeling that federal legalization wouldn't be replicated across a lot states where it would really matter. i would say that, given the current makeup of congress. it's worth the rest of his term (even assuming he would be replaced with a dem)

i would maybe take a year or two of a ron paul presidency if he spent 90-95% of his energy on his campaign promise of ending the drug war. that's about as far as i would go along these lines.

(i don't think that's a realistic vision of what a ron paul 2008 presidency would've looked like, btw)

I'd wanna know that trump is suffering

and his supporters too

but I guess that makes me a monster since I'd be wishing suffering upon a large segment of the american population

i know that this may not be what op meant, but legalization alone isn't going to stop marijuana incarcerations I don't think. Idk, maybe you wouldn't do time but if you've got mad p's on you here (mass) i think you'll get arrested at least. at the very least, weed busts are a chance for cops to steal your money and possibly your weed and simply sell it themselves, positive that the first happens, wouldn't doubt the second.

and just from an anecdotal standpoint, as a consumer and someone with a certain amount of insight into the supply side of black market weed sale around here (never dealt myself, but it's a good way to make a buck), the weed black market will continue so long as prices for legal weed stay high, I'd guess. shit's five a gram here and I still know a guy who made 140k last year. granted weed only became recreational legal here in 2019. Will be interesting to see what he makes this year. Meanwhile, guys are running up in people's houses with bullet proof vests on.
