Yeah
Like said city is sprawling and sucks but one year they got a budget to build an artists rendering "arts and entertainment" district and it seems very forced and there's a cupcake shop that sucks and a gallery with bad art and a non chain restaurant that is bad

The only legitimate complaints I've seen about Chicago in comparison to other big us cities is the weather and lack of proximity to natural outdoor beauty (not including the lake).
