how do you think MARRIED WITH CHILDREN holds up today

Health insurance rip off lying FDA big bankers buying
Fake computer crashes dining
Cloning while they're multiplying
Fashion shoots with Beck and Hanson
Courtney Love, and Marilyn Manson
You're all fakes
Run to your mansions
Come around
We'll kick your ass in

if you asked the people who made it they would probably say it was meant to skewer toxic masculinity but it's constantly horny audience hooting at the teenaged christina applegate every episode suggests otherwise.

I feel like it was meant to be a modern All in the Family but without the introspective life lessons.

It’s an outrageous fantasy about a homeowner who supports his family on a shoe salesman’s salary.

there was one woman in the studio audience who had a gravely HAR HAR HAR laugh that they seemed to have throughout almost the entire series run.

It wasn't even really good back in the day but it was a pleasant watch and I bet it's nostalgic now for like.... 3 episodes worth of watching

I watched this show growing up, but I don't recall really enjoying it much. That it was (at the time) a controversial program and my mother let me watch it was reason enough.

yeah that's about right. i remember watching it, but don't remember deriving any enjoyment from it. i'm sure the only reason we watched it is because we were told not to.
