Yeah, that’s why it’s Top 20 releases and not top 20 albums

Sure feel free, I wouldn't start a new thread for it though. Just holler at TES and keep it here, imo
I'm saying I've done the last two years of year end lists and am intending to do this year's Best of 2019 lists, as well. I'm gonna do voting for mine probably starting in mid-to late November and was intending to release the list at the end of the year, per recent tradition and just didn't want to step on your toes, in terms of the two lists coming out at the same time.
I've got a pretty set and generally well received format for revealing the results (even if my half year list one got pretty delayed because it's a little labor intensive and... life was happening) with Spotify links, sometimes leak thread links, album cover etc etc which I think works well and if you were to want me to handle that stuff, I wouldn't mind. Or you can do you and reveal it as you wish! I just didn't wanna do the legwork for counting up two lists at the same time.

I'm talking about a separate list that's just the year end list for 2019. Which would logically be it's own thing separate from this.
I just thought having two lists going at the same time could either be confusing or be complimentary and was preferring the other. I'm not touching the best of the decade list and agree, just keep up with the list thru till when you want to compile it.

But apologies if it came off like I was trying to do anything outside of thinking our two lists coming out both in December could benefit from as little as linking to one another and differentiating themselves and as much as asking if you wanted me to help with the presentation of your list.

i'm not sure if my by-hand copy/pasting a few months ago will help you out somehow, but looking back at it, it's a massive mess.
i should have used the data as an excuse to dabble in basic database management. maybe wildcards would help the lack of consistency of submissions

doing this made me realize that in a decade where streaming supposedly killed the album as a concept there certainly were a shit ton of classique albums

this thread made me think of eugenics' great quote about the national
Eugenics wrote:the national suck. all their words are like 'im a debonair dude in a suave suit at a rich persons party with a beautiful girl in a stunningl dress and we are drinking expensive drinks and blah blah blah' plus the dude sounds like the guy from crash test dummies or lifehouse or some other pickle in my mouth 90s troubadour douche

it's amazing how poorly kanye and drake's work from this decade has aged compared to some of their peers. i can readily think of a bunch of albums from the 2000s and even the 90s that sound less dated than they do already
