Now I make sure to at least keep a twenty on me at all times.

yeah. the other day i was at the bank and i thought, "should i get $20 out?" but no one uses cash here and i was thinking "why do i need it?" and BOY HOWDY

this morning after i realized what had happened and that i was gonna end up walking a ton i was just throwing stuff into my lunch bag and i ended up just throwing three pork chops and 1/3rd of a loaf of banana bread in there

really grateful for those selections right now. i am just going to town. might go eat some cold cuts that we keep on hand for big functions after this.

my sister forwarded my dad's mail to her house for a couple weeks in january 2018

and somehow it also forwarded my mail

and i've tried and tried and tried to cancel it but it won't stop.

actually it correctly sends me junk mail and packages, but literally any financial documents it will send to her.

so when i had to get a new debit card it took me a month to come. and then it came with a broken chip and i couldn't use the swipe method because of chase's fraud protection features.

so a couple weeks ago i decided to try again and get a new card. mail forwarding cancels after a year and i haven't seen my address change on my chase profile yet. however it's been two weeks and still no debit card!!!!!!!!

Do people actually memorize their CVV number. When I was calling to replace a lost card, the first question she asked me was what was my CVV number. I told her I didn’t have the card cause it was lost and she got all flummoxed.

That's why you wanna use a credit card to buy shit online, you don't lose anything if your card gets scammed. The overhead to cover that liability gets charged to the merchant too. Never use a debit card online if you can avoid it.

what REALLY set this off was that i was checking my account and saw that i had supposedly spent $57 in an ice cream parlor (i had actually spent like $7 and they added a large tip for themselves i suppose) so i disputed that. then i thought "better check for others" and saw the amazon charge. so what the hell.

when I had a horrible summer job fundraising for the DNC many of the old people had ALL the numbers on their cc memorized. would just rattle them off at the drop of a hat one sentence into my bogus pitch, blew my mind

There are a surprising amount of situations in my life where I need cash, but my solution to this problem is that I still have my first credit card with a terrible interest rate open and not in my wallet
