I remember setting my fantasy football lineup during the evening on 9/11 and feeling very weird about it. I was placing Jimmy Smith (JAX, WR) into the starting lineup.
For anyone wondering, Jimmy Smith’s first game post-9/11 was September 23 against the Titans. He was targeted 11 times, received 7 times and accumulated 87 yards. No touchdowns, long of 28.

Combarieu declares that the songs of birds are not "musical" either, because they are "very difficult to take down in notation." See his Music-Its Laws and Evolution, 155. Will some divine power please create a "Musical" bird to sing the Air for G String in exact Equal Temperament for M. Combarieu?
You're right. Also if John Kerry had been president during 9/11, instead of throwing the first pitch at the Yankees game he probably would have hoisted up the first sail at the Cape Cod Windsurfing Regata. Am I right, folks?!?
My boss has decided that it's going to be a Fox News morning here in the office and he's simultaneously listening to conservative talk radio and Mike Gallagher keeps going on and on about how everyone has forgotten about 9/11 and only the true patriots remember.

Yeah, today on the classic rock radio station here, after the moment of silence they played an excerpt of G.W.'s response where he said "terrorism can shake the foundations of the tallest buildings, but it cannot shake the foundations of the culture of the United States" or something like that. Seems to me that it was pretty successful in realigning U.S. society. Not that it wasn't shit before.
