he took a bad route and was approaching it like he was going to make a throw and there was no throw that needed to be made. it was two out and two runs would score regardless. his only job was field it cleanly.

this really diminishes how poorly Hader was pitching

Zimm earned that hit with a good at bat. Hader was wild as hell with his fastball. and then Soto smacked the shit outta that 2rbi single.

seems insane to me that the Rays would not only carry Yandy Diaz on their WC roster but bat him leadoff

there's no way his timing is back

loved yandy earlier this year though, especially against LHPs. hopefully he makes me eat crow.
