his tik tok game is very strong lol
He's a socialist truck driver. his story for others is that his opponent, a WA giant (Denny Heck) accounced retirement mid-campaign and he got 25k overnight. Former mayor of my humble city Strickland is now running against him, and it is transparently an Amazon ploy to control the region. He has, like I said, done incredibly well on social media. My only fret bc I don't know what the ground game is like considering tacoma dsa is kinda prickly about electoral politics. He has a staff though! I donate $4.20/month bc it was a great appeal

they have nice parks though

so hoping for people to stump their local candidates in here. I'll update the main page and we can use the rest of the thread to share social media and fundraising call outs.

full disclosure atm I give 27/m to rebecca parsons, 4.20 to joshua collins, and randomly to chris armitage. I haven't given to Bernie this cycle, limited funds and feel good about feeding the movement from below

i also realize w/ the time differences this is probably an inconveniently timed post but i will bump it np np my bad.

I personally find it inspiring that so many people are running(and I have a small twitter and I know there are lots of candidates out there)

remember the centrist line a year ago about how 4 "squad" members was a joke? The punchline is when we add people every election. It doesn't take many to have a dangerous and powerful bloc.

I think mutual aid is just as important btw but in election season it is good to be informed and have a cheat sheet bc voting is a lever of power you do not cede

added charles booker! the op is obv a work in progress, I will clean up formatting and stuff as I go. The red is for the rose caucasus members, its catching on(its in my hometown and i'm not actually related to it bc i'm estranged from DSA here) but it is still v exciting and look it up!

i was trying to do this in the elections thread

thx for starting this separate thread chyet

i don't have a ton of familiarity with these people so maybe throwing them up in your OP is not necessary yet but

- i see Albert Lee is doing a primary challenge to Earl Blumenauer in OR-03
- i feel very confident Alex Morse should be on this list (he's for GND, m4All, endorsed by Justice Democrats) for trying to unseat Richard Neal in MA-01
- justice democrats are also backing Jamaal Bowman in NY-16, Jessica Cisneros in TX-28 against known ghoul Henry Cuellar, Morgan Harper in OH-03, Cori Bush in MO-01, Kara Eastman (in her second shot at) in NE-02 and Betsy Sweet for ME-Senate.
- i think Cisneros, Bowman and Morse are probably the most important of those because i think taking out well-establish members of the Dem House is so key. Cuellar, Engel and Neal are the worst of the worst.
- Paula Jean Swearengin is running again in WV for Senate
- Adrienne Bell is taking another shot at TX-14 and Randy Weber
- Adem Bunkeddeko is taking another shot at Yvette Clark in NY-09. i'm not sure how much of an improvement he would be but definitely a primary that is good for the constituents in that district

maybe justice democrats are a bridge too far with their weird (corrupt?) finances, etc idk i vaguely trust them and their picks for candidates. same with brand new congress but still have to be careful about ousting a decent progressive ally in some of these circumstances i'm sure.

a couple more on the board this cycle will be huge but i still think it's important to put the votes up for these people in primaries and otherwise, even for the longshot of longshots. i know there are no moral victories. this is a zero sum game.

but i think it's important to signal to those that are mulling over a run and you can do this with your protest vote. i voted for disorganized, crank candidates in MD-05 for three straight elections, always casting a vote but never one for Steny Hoyer. when AOC pulled off her primary win over Joe Crowley i started dreaming of a run myself. i'm too stupid and undisciplined to run for congress but i took a look at the numbers and that district is a sleeping giant there for the taking. with the right organization Hoyer will fall. and he's old as dirt so it's real important to knock him off this cycle before the corrupt MD and Prince George's Co Dem machine takes over with a transition of power scheme.

i'm not there anymore but i'm so pumped for Wilkes to take that fight to Hoyer this go around. she's way better equipped than any of the others before her.

oh hey thanks for those suggestions, i'll glance over them today

i'm mostly looking for either a Bernie+M4A and/or GND to mark them as progressive and like I said the Red is the Rose Caucause, which I understand to be a Slate that divides donations evenly not a PAC
