Did people only play poker as an excuse to smoke? I bet some of them did.

Here's something I've always wondered: do you call it a "hand" of poker, or a "paw".

Has anyone done one where the pets of Republican and Democratic Presidents are playing against each other. Socks vs. Nixon's snake or whatever.

We might be saying the same thing but I think it’s more that deception of any kind is probably not fun for a dog

This would be a good way to introduce the "hermeneutic circle" problem.

I've met some dogs who are good at bluffing but most are terrible at it

I bet it's easier to bluff to another dog tho. that's probably why they don't allow humans in their game

Do dogs actually enjoy being Freemasons, or do they just enjoy telling goats what to do? Now replace "dogs" with "people" and "goats" with "people" and "being Freemasons" with "capitalism".

It's impossible to tell if my dog is staring at my because he wants to get on the couch and have at least 70% of it or because there's a tennis ball under the couch so I think he'd be good at poker.
