Yeah, I haven't checked your show yet but probably will later. A bunch of italo disco broke into the French charts and a couple even ended up singing some songs in french and there was a real french boogie movement in the early 80's that was in a lot of ways the french equivalent of italo disco. I plan to do a whole show dedicated to french boogie, perhaps even two. Might be the next show i plan in fact.

I am however absolutely not stoked for LHS's uber-goth show and will not be listening except maybe accidentally.

yeah it does.
Also, if they're not gonna announce it, I'll say it:
plainsong and producer are also going to have a show. It's called Diegesis and it will be Tuesday mornings at 8:00 am CT starting APRIE ZOZI. It features songs from movies. I'm excited about it for a few reasons: (1) I really like both plainsong's and producer's taste in music. (2) It's a strong concept; I think songs that are written for movies tend to be some of the most interesting songs in popular music. (3) It's on a weekday morning—a first for us—and the morning is maybe my favorite time to listen to the radio. (this is another reason I want people who are outside of north america to have shows). Also, great name for the show. Thank you to all those who do not name their shows something ending in "hour" or "radio" (no offense to those who do).
the boarder DubaiDutyFree (fka WussWayne / BigPoppaPum) will also have a show titled Pili Pilau. Thursdays @ noon CT starting APRB ZOZI. Can't say for sure what will be played, but if I had to guess, based on their taste in music, I'd say we're pretty likely to hear some house music. Also very excited for this daytime show. I like to listen to music while I work, so these are big for me.

yeah, great call todd, New Wave Sluts feels very cinematic. I think that's what I meant when I said it has, like, a "strong concept".

no boarders playing today, but there's a show at 11am CT today hosted by some people from Northern Spy Records / NNA tapes.
Also, indiepop digest, whose show last week was hilarious and awesome, is at 6pm CT this evening.
There's also a show called unsalted hour at 8pm CT tonight. idk what they're playing but they're on the schedule.

Idk. Honestly, we get to it when we get to it. We mostly take them in the order we get them. We’ll get to yours as soon as we can. I think you’re close to the front at this point.

Indiepop digest just posted on Instagram that today’s show is gonna be about Theo Hilton from nana grizol which I’m stoked about because nana grizol is one of my all time favorite bands.
