Winter and summer are both garbage. Both of them in ny are so insanely shit and it’s bonkers that they are not even close to the worst you can have…

No such thing as two great seasons if you’ve got unbearable seasons Spring and fall are like 3 weeks long :(

There aren't all that many places that truly have B. I now live in Minnesota where the winters are freezing and people think it gets hot here in the summer, which it does I guess, but it's absolutely nothing compared to places like Mississippi, Houston, etc. where 1) it gets hotter, 2) it's way more humid, and 3) it's hot every day, whereas in the Midwest every few days will be in the 80s if not 70s. The opposite also applies -- people down south think it's deadly cold when it reaches 35, and while that wet cold can definitely feel cold, 1) it's nothing compared to up north where you can feel the cold in your lungs, 2) it's generally short lived/at least not persistent.

All of that said, as nice as a climate paradise can be, I do prefer the change of the seasons.

i mean even San Francisco would easily qualify under this criteria

i do actually enjoy 4 seasons. but i dont enjoy how long winter lasts, and how miserable March-May can still be

colorado has brutal summers and decent winters. but it's rarely in the sweet spot of 50-70 degrees f. it was nice for the first 30 years of life, but now that global warming fucked with weather patterns, it's essentially made it so spring and fall don't exist-- plus giving us 20 days in a row of 90+ every summer. it fucking sucks.

but it probably sucks everywhere, so at least we get dry winters with sunny skies.
